Heterogeneous Grade 9 English Classes
The Winnacunnet School Board has been presented with a proposal to introduce heterogeneous grouping for all Grade 9 English classes beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.
Since May 2014, several English teachers and administrators have presented this proposal to our sending district school boards as well as at a public forum in May 2014. We have tried to anticipate and address all concerns. However, if you still have questions, we want to hear them. Please join us for an informational presentation on September 25th at 6:00 pm in the Lecture Hall.
This is the online attendance and grading system used by all teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors at Winnacunnet. There are two separate access passwords – one for parents and one for students. There are different screens available to parents and we encourage parents to access the system with their own login. Parents can get the password through guidance. Students can get their password from their guidance counselor. There are times when PowerSchool is not available. After the last day of classes each trimester, PowerSchool is closed for finalizing grades. PowerSchool is closed during the summer and occasionally for scheduled maintenance.
