WELCOME CLASS OF 2020

Fresh Start Bus Schedule

Fresh Start is a 3-day orientation to Winnacunnet High School for all members of the Class of 2020. The focus of Fresh Start will be on:

  • Establishing connections with WHS staff members, classmates, and upperclassmen
  • Experiencing adventure in challenging group activities
  • Understanding the day-to-day life at WHS by participating in a tour of the school and its resources
  • Making a positive transition from 8th grade to high school
  • Developing a sense of pride and belonging in your new school

At WHS Fresh Start, you will be:

  • Challenged by problem-solving games and initiatives
  • Scavenging items to learn the layout of the school
  • Checking out the resources for academic success
  • Exploring your creativity through a hands-on project
  • Introduced to the various programs and extracurricular activities available to you
  • Meeting former Fresh Start alumni volunteers who want to share the excitement of the program with you

Fresh Start is open to all students planning to attend Winnacunnet High School this coming fall. The atmosphere will be like a summer camp, so dress comfortably to be ready for activities. A nutritional snack will be provided. To get the full benefit of the program, plan to be here each day promptly by 9:00 a.m. for a full morning of experiences.

There is no cost for the program. Bus transportation will be provided and the bus schedule listing central pick-up and drop-off stops will be available in your local newspaper, at the main office at WHS, and online at winnacunet.org. A confirmation letter will be sent to your home. Please complete the attached agreement and permission sheet. Completed forms should be returned to your guidance counselor by Friday, June 17. 2016. For questions, contact Mrs. Waterhouse, Guidance Counselor, Winnacunnet High School at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 758-9240.
