General Announcements

The International Thespian Society presents the annual 10 Minute Plays this Saturday, May 13th, at 7pm in the auditorium! Please join us for a series of student written, directed, and produced performances. Admission is $5.

We NEED more cars to run the student section. That Trophy could be yours! And and All makes/models are welcome. Have a moped or bicycle? Enter those as well! May 13th from 10-1! Come and compete for the Best in Show trophy! Participation is $5. Check your emails for registration information or contact Ms. Turcotte ot Mrs. Garand for more information.

Attention all Art students from Trimester 1, 2, and 3: Artwork from the art show will be available for pick up beginning on Monday, May 8 with the appropriate art teacher. We will hold the artwork for you until Monday, May 15th, after which time it will be discarded. Students who had Mrs. Berry for Watercolor or Beginning Art can find your work with Mrs. Larivee. Students who had Mrs. Berry for Advanced Drawing can find your work with Mrs. Varney.

Any students interested in performing at the Coffee House must perform their song(s) after school on either May 9th or May 11th between 2:30-3:30 for Mr. Martin and Mr. Moore. This is not an audition.

The Winnacunnet Chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society is sponsoring a Coffeehouse on Tuesday, May 23 at 7 pm in the Dining Hall. Admission is $2. The Coffeehouse is open to all Winnacunnet students, from solo singers and instrumentalists to rock bands and comedians. A sound system will be provided, but students must provide their own instruments and equipment. Any student interested in performing, see Mr. Moore or Mr. Martin in the music department.

The Interact Club will meet in the auditorium during Warrior Block on Tuesday, May 9, for elections for next year's officers. See one of this year's officers or Mrs. Osborne if you have questions.

There will be a GSA meeting after school tomorrow, Tuesday, May 9th, in Ms. Bergeron’s classroom, Room C121.

There will be a Positive Pathways meeting during Warrior Block on Wed., May 10th in Ms. Couture's room (E 102). All are welcome to attend!

Best Buddies Friendship Walk Saturday, May 13, 2017, 10am-2pm at the State House Grounds, 107 N. Main Street, Concord, NH: All are welcome! The number one walk in the country that plays a key role in funding Best Buddies programs - It’s a fun-filled day with music, games, activities and food! Register at bestbuddiesfriendshipwalk.com Transportation to Concord via bus will be provided, however, you are welcome to drive up separately. If you are planning to ride the bus to and from the event, please complete a permission slip in Mrs. Allen's room (F125) and return it to school by Friday, May 12, 2017. Students riding the bus need to be at the front entrance of WHS by 8:15 a.m. Plan to get picked up in the same location at 12:30 p.m. ​

We will once again be having FULL STEAM AHEAD Summer camp at Lincoln Akerman this summer. The dates are June 26th-June 30th. We are looking for 10-15 student volunteers to help in the different sessions. Camp runs from 9-12 each day (would need to be there at 8:45. Pick a new one and bring it back filled out to the main office or on one of the other dates listed at lunch time.
