General Announcements

Spring Team Photos are Thursday, April 20. If you want to purchase photos and did not receive an order form from your coach, please stop in the athletic office to get one. Be on time for your team photo and be in uniform. Represent!

TODAY after school, there will be an action movie shown in Room F-124 for anyone interested. The movie will run until 4:30pm, so you should have a ride home after the movie.

Need a book for vacation? You can now read it on your phone or tablet through OverDrive from Hawley Library. Check out the bulletin boards around building with QR codes for various titles or stop into Hawley Library for more information.

The Winnacunnet Chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society is sponsoring a Coffeehouse on Tuesday, May 23 at 7 pm in the Dining Hall. Admission is $2. The Coffeehouse is open to all Winnacunnet students, from solo singers and instrumentalists to rock bands and comedians. A sound system will be provided, but students must provide their own instruments and equipment. Any student interested in performing, see Mr. Moore or Mr. Martin in the music department.

Do you have a car you'd like to show off? The class of 2020 is looking for student participants for this year’s car show, May 13th from 10-1! Come and compete for the Best in Show trophy! Participation is $5. Check your emails this week for registration information!

Love yoga or want to try it for the first time? The first yoga club will meet TUESDAY, MAY 2nd in the fitness room from 3:00-4:00 pm for a vinyasa flow practice and a basic introduction to yoga. Totem LitMag will be meeting Thursday, after school in E104.

Those interested in running for an Interact Officer position for next year are reminded your application is due by this Friday. See Mrs. Osborne in the library. Students taking the AP Exam - If you only paid the deposit for your AP exam, the balance is now due. Please bring your check, payable to Winnacunnet High School, to Mrs. Jones in guidance prior to leaving on spring break.


Community Service Opportunities

We will once again be having FULL STEAM AHEAD Summer camp at Lincoln Akerman this summer. The dates are June 26th-June 30th. We are looking for 10-15 student volunteers to help in the different sessions. Camp runs from 9-12 each day (would need to be there at 8:45. Class of 2017 - Seniors

Winnacunnet Dollars for Scholars deadline is April 30th. Quite a few of you have started but not completed the application. If you are having problems, please see Ms Shofner. These WILL go to WHS seniors.
