ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: This Friday, April 7th is the deadline date for RYLA applications to be returned to the Student Activities office, B101. RYLA is a 4 day outdoor leadership conference to take place Sunday, June 25-ending on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Camp Hinds in Raymond, Maine. This camp is paid in full by Hampton Rotary. The conference is open to high school sophomores who have exhibited leadership in the home, school, and community.

Totem LitMag will be meeting Thursday, after school in E104.
The PSAT10 and SAT will be given on 4/5. Juniors and sophomores must report to school at by 7:40. Students are to report directly to the posted rooms. The rooms list will be outside Guidance, the main entrance and outside of the dining hall.
- The testing will begin at 7:45, late students will not be admitted. The PSAT10 is 3 1/2 hours long. All students taking the PSAT10 will miss blocks 1 and 2.
- The SAT’s are 4 ½ hours long, students will miss blocks 1,2,5 and will eat block 3. All students must bring 2 #2 pencils. We will not be providing pencils. You will only be able to use pencils, no mechanical pencils or pens. All students must supply their own calculator, no calculators will be provided. The math tests can be taken without a calculator.
- Students should have their picture ID to show their room proctor.Students should bring snacks that can be consumed during breaks only. Water, coffees can not be consumed during the test, only during breaks.
- Cell phones will not be permitted during the test. Any student who is seen using their cell phone at anytime during the PSAT10 and SAT administration and breaks will be dismissed and the cell phone will be confiscated. The best advice is to leave them home for the day. Student's backpack must remain in the testing room and students will not have access to them once the testing begins.
Community Service Opportunities

The Hampton PTA is looking for student volunteers for the Daughter's Choice Dance, which is on Saturday, April 8th. They need help at both dances - 4:30-6:30, 7-9 (you can volunteer for both or just one) and then help cleaning up in between each dance. They will also have pizza and goodies for your kind efforts.
