General Announcements

Warrior Trading Post will be open Saturday during the Empty Bowls Event. Stop in and see what is new for spring. New women's section with dri-fit t-shirt and 1/4 zips, running shorts and boxers, sports bras, bandannas, pinnies and more. New men's 1/4 zips in royal blue dri-fit material. We are your WinnaDecal HQ - spring sports, hiking, biking, and ski club, bass fishing, art, music and drama as well as your class year and other WHS logos. Show your school spirit with our one inch warrior head decal for your phone case! Coming soon - new gray hoodie with newly designed artwork.

WHS will present 9 to 5 the Musical on Friday March 10 at 7 pm, and Saturday, March 11 at 2 and 7 pm. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.

"LUNCH & A SHOW" Don't miss Empty Bowls tomorrow (Sat March 11) - 11:00 to 1:00 in the dining hall! A community luncheon of hot soup, bread and dessert - all proceeds benefit hungry people in our school and local area. New this year: a limited supply of handmade mugs!! And stay for the matinee of 9 to 5 at 2:00!

Any student interested in participating in the FinLit 300 (formerly LifeSmarts) competition must see Mrs. Arsenault by Thursday, March 9th. The online competition ends this Friday.

Greetings Warriors: As some of you may know the Class of 2017 is selling Krispy Kreme Donuts by the dozen for $12 per box. There is only 5 days left get to get your donuts. Reach out to a senior, class officer, or Mr. Connolly who can be found in room E101 to order. We accept either cash or a check for the donuts. If you order some the pick up day is in the cafeteria on March 25th from 9-11 am. Order some while you still can!

Best Buddies is celebrating Spread the Word to End the Word for the whole month of March. On Friday, March 10th we are having a schoolwide blue out! Our campaign asks people to pledge to stop saying the R-word as a starting point toward creating more accepting attitudes and communities for all people.

FCA will be meeting on Friday morning at 7:05 in the exercise room above the gym. Join for faith, fellowship, and doughnuts!

Positive Pathways will be meeting during warrior block on Wednesday, March 15th in Mrs. Arsenault's Room - E105

Guidance Announcements

Guidance is looking for upperclassmen to help with the Class of 2021 Step Up Day. The date is March 14. The Class of 2021 will arrive at 9:30 and will leave at 1:15. Lunch will be provided. Since March 14 is a no school day for WHS, you will have to provide you own transportation. You will be able to park on campus. If you are interested please sign up in Guidance.

Community Service Opportunities

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get community service hours!!

The Hampton PTA is looking for student volunteers for the Daughter's Choice Dance, which is on Saturday, April 8th. They need help at both dances - 4:30-6:30, 7-9 (you can volunteer for both or just one) and then help cleaning up in between each dance. They will also have pizza and goodies for your kind efforts. Class Information

Class of 2017 - Seniors

Attention Seniors: Seniors that are 18 years old are eligible to vote in the Town Elections on March 14th. If you are not registered to vote, you can register on election day. Be sure to bring 2 forms of photo ID and proof of residency. There is no reason not to vote - you have the day off from school! Exercise your right and vote on Tuesday, March 14th. If you have any questions ask your social studies teacher, past or present. Thank you for your civic engagement!

Attention Seniors: The artistic design contest for 2017 Chem Free T-Shirt has begun. $100.00 for the winning design**Open to All Seniors**. Contest Details:
1. Submission deadline March 24 (multiple designs may be submitted.
2. Black ink lettering & design on white 8.5” x 11” paper
3. Must include “2017 Chem Free”
4. Design entries must be submitted to Mrs. Edgar in art room A122.
The winning design will be selected by majority vote at the April 2017 Chem Free parent committee meeting.

Tickets for the boys basketball game will go on sale Thursday morning in the athletic office. They will be available for sale until 4PM on Thursday and again on Friday until 4PM. Ticket prices are $3 for students and senior citizens and $5 for adults.

All boys interested in playing Tennis and have not previously played for Winnacunnet, please see Mr. Hayward on Monday, March 13 in Room B203 at 2:45.
